Product information "Sean Stanton Signature - tubes"
Sean Stanton is Head-Ghillie of the Ballogie Estates, on the Scottish Salmon River Dee. Over the years he has developed many catching salmon flies here. His latest creation is called "Franc N Snaelda" - an incredibly effective salmon fly!

Sean Stanton Signature Tubes are characterized by a conical shape. In addition, these tubes are provided with small notches on the surface, which hold the integrated material in place. The combination of these attributes results in a decisive advantage when tying the "Frances" and their variants!

The Sean Stanton Signature Tubes are particularly suitable for conical fly patterns where material is to be held on the tube, such as with "Frances" and "Sneldea", or even Sean Stanton's "Franc N Snaelda"! A silicone hose can easily be pushed onto the rear end of this tube, through which the hook is held on the fly.

Sean Stanton Signature Tubes are part of our "FlyOnly - Tube System" in which all components for tying tube flies can be combined with one another. The tubes are mounted on an inner tube (1.8mm). A silicone tube can easily be pushed onto the rear end of this tube, which holds the hook on the fly. However, it is also possible to fish the hook freely swinging behind the tube.

There are two different versions of this tube. One variant has a "flange" in the front area, which prevents the bound material from slipping forward. The other variant does not have this barrier and is particularly suitable for tubes that are to be additionally weighed down by a conehead!
