US tubes are the classic among the weighted tubes. They are indispensable in modern fly tying! The development of fly tying materials has advanced in the past few years ... The classic US tubes have also developed further in this context.

We now also have a variant of this classic in catchy fluorescent colors! The advantages of this variant are obvious. If you want to tie a bow tie with a colored body, you can wrap it around with tinsel or something similar. save up! The result is a nice color accent in the center of the bow tie.

All common fly patterns can be tied with US tubes. The hook can be fixed at the rear end of the tube or fished freely behind the tube with a piece of silicone hose.

US tubes (colored) are part of our "FlyOnly tube system" in which all components for tying tube flies can be combined with one another. The colored US tubes are mounted on an inner tube (1.8mm) to prevent flies such as Tie variants of the Beis fly. In addition, US tubes can also be combined with external tubes (3mm) in order to obtain weighted and balanced tube bodies. For this purpose, pieces of the outer tube of any length, behind the US tube, are mounted on the inner tube.
