Soft-Cones

The soft cones were developed by Peter Falkenberg. His company, "Falkenberg Fly Tools", has made a name for itself by developing innovative fly tying products!

The soft cones are special coneheads made of a soft but very resistant PU material. These cones can be used to tie unusual salmon and sea trout flies. Soft cones have a relatively large diameter of approx. 8mm, so they displace a lot of water and create a lot of play in the swing arm due to the resulting turbulence. Due to the special shape of these cones, tied flies can be easily detached from the water and thrown!

The "Falkenberg" soft cones are available in two versions:

Floating: These cones are ideal for carefree patterns that are fished close to the surface, e.g. be used in night-time sea trout fisheries on many Danish rivers.

Intermediate: This variant gives weighted fly patterns that are to be fished deeper a particularly large amount of play.
