UTC Mylar Tinsel

UTC Mylar Tinsel is used to tie salmon flies and streamers. It can be tied in as a rib over other binding material or as a slim body directly on the hook shank or on the tube.

In addition, it is ideal as a back shield for gammarieden and other shrimp imitations.

This tinsel is available in two different colors, "Ice Blue Pearl" and "Mirage". Both variants are semi-transparent, which results in a difuse silhouette in the bow tie. These tinsel reflect in particular the UV component of the incident light spectrum and make such flies very attractive for fish even in poor lighting conditions.
